Walmart’s tech arm Walmart Labs have reportedly planning to expand its workforce in India.
According to a report, the company will hire about 800 people for their operations in Chennai and 2000 new hires will be joining the Bengaluru office.
Walmart Labs is looking for data engineers and work in the direction of machine learning, and data science.
The group is also in the process to develop analytical products such as HR, finance, supply chain, pricing, customer, and marketing.
Earlier in March, Walmart announced a plan to hire more than 150,000 hourly workers in US, given the rise in the number of shoppers due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
